Whose mind is stayed on thee for it begins with your mind. And the peace of God,,,[that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is, honourable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [centre your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. (Philippians chapter 4 verse 7-8 Amplified Bible Version translation)
The Bible says in Isaiah chapter 26 verse 3 New King James Version translation says; You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Notice the keyword here PEACE. The Hebrew word translated “peace” is “Shalom”; it doesn’t just mean peace in terms of quietness; it also stands for health, prosperity and rest. It refers to the rest of God with prosperity, health, strength and salvation. Glory to God!
However, these things are essentially determined by the content and quality of your mind. When your mind is stayed on the Lord and His Word, you’ll experience perfect prosperity, health, rest, and strength. It’s that simple. I like the way the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition version translation rendered Isaiah chapter 26 verse 3. It says; You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.
Your mind is very important to God. That’s where He seeks to work. That’s why I told you my brothers and sisters, IT BEGINS WITH YOUR MIND. If God can get a hold of your mind, you can be everything He wants you to be. You can become as healthy, prosperous, and successful as you ever want to be. So, it begins with the mind.
Why is your mind so important?
It’s because God has fashioned the mind as the instrument for your transformation. Romans chapter 12 verse 2 the Amplified Bible Version translation says; And do not be conformed to this world any longer with its superficial values and customs, but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].
There are no limits to what you can achieve, and absolutely no restrictions to how high you can propel yourself in the highway of victory when your mind is governed and regulated by the Word. With your mind established on the Word, the possibilities are endless. So always fix your mind on the beautiful realities of the Word. It’s an effective way to create the ideal framework and system for your life and make the most of the unique life and blessings God has given you.
As you have prepared to focus your mind on the Lord for His plan and purpose for you in life to manifest, I want you to pray this prayer say;
Dear Father, my mind is fixed on your Word and the transcendent realities of the Kingdom of God. Therefore, I walk in supernatural peace, with prosperity, health, strength and salvation. My mind is in-undated with thoughts of progress and possibilities, and I experience higher levels of glory and victory, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
